Start from the account page of the service, not from a search ad. Confirm the email on the account matches the card charge.
Download anything you still need before canceling. Check the provider’s terms for when access ends and whether any refund is available; these rules vary by service and plan.
Turn off renewal before the stated cancellation deadline, save the confirmation, and check the next statement. Confirm the effective end date and any final charges under the provider’s terms.
If the charge returns, open the statement descriptor and match it to the row name you typed. Providers bill through a parent company name that will not match the app icon.
