Put trial end dates on a calendar

When a trial starts, check the stated cancellation deadline and create a calendar reminder with enough time to act before it. Include the service name, renewal date, price and billing cycle you were shown.

Do not rely on the reminder email. Those messages are easy to archive with newsletters.

On the reminder day, review whether the service is useful. If you do not want the paid plan, complete cancellation before the provider’s stated deadline and save the confirmation.

After canceling, leave the calendar event until the first statement that should be clean. That is the check that the trial did not convert.
